About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Data Scientist with over seven years of professional experience, specializing in the healthcare sector. This remote contract opportunity involves developing and optimizing advanced data science models tailored for healthcare applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, select, and create market-specific data science models including but not limited to Claude Opus, OpenAI's GPT, and Google Gemini.
- Execute diagnostic tests and controls on models, including hyper-parameter optimization and implementing reinforcement learning techniques.
- Perform drift detection analysis while integrating Human-In-The-Loop (HITL) procedures for improved model accuracy.
- Design and automate artificial intelligence engineering workflows, featuring vector stores, embeddings, and comprehensive model deployment processes from initial discovery through production, incorporating Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Utilize cloud environments, particularly Databricks, managing API integrations, compute infrastructure, MLflow usage, and feature store maintenance.
Required Skills and Expertise
- Extensive proficiency in data science and machine learning methodologies.
- Practical experience working with cutting-edge AI models and platforms such as Claude, GPT, and Gemini.
- Advanced understanding of the entire model lifecycle including development, tuning, deployment, and ongoing monitoring.
- Strong familiarity with cloud computing platforms with a focus on Databricks.
- Solid background and domain knowledge in healthcare-related data science projects.
