Role overview
This position is focused on overseeing data center asset operations in Dublin, ensuring that physical inventory, ledger records, and compliance requirements remain aligned. The role combines daily operational control, process improvement, audit support, and team leadership within a business-critical environment.
Daily operations
- Maintain the data center asset register and keep it current at all times.
- Match physical stock with financial records on a periodic basis in line with financial regulations.
- Carry out regular stock counts to confirm that ledger records and on-site assets are fully consistent.
- Build and refine physical asset control practices that protect assets and improve how they are used.
- Make sure service-level targets for asset check-in and check-out tasks are achieved.
Safety and compliance
- Run asset operations in a way that meets workplace safety, legal, and integrity standards.
- Ensure all asset management procedures follow company rules and applicable laws.
- Work with internal and external auditors and provide the required evidence, records, and assistance.
Optimization and process improvement
- Create and revise asset management policies, operating instructions, emergency procedures, and response plans.
- Review asset data regularly to spot risks, anomalies, and potential operating issues.
- Report findings and improvement opportunities in a clear and timely manner.
Technical and operational support
- Partner with the business and team members to support data center asset activities effectively.
- Design the warehouse storage-location plan and establish inventory control rules for finished units and spare parts, including min-max levels.
Team management
- Lead the asset operations team and support performance reviews.
- Help build the talent pipeline and strengthen team capability through training and development.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or supply chain.
- At least 3 years of corporate asset management experience, along with familiarity in warehousing and supply chain processes.
- Proven team leadership experience and the ability to guide a team toward completing assigned work.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities, including the capacity to train both internal and external stakeholders on asset management topics.
- Experience taking part in multiple enterprise-level asset audits.
- A highly responsible, detail-focused working style with strong accuracy in data handling.
- Ability to collaborate well with others and contribute to shared team goals.
- English fluency is mandatory because it is the main working language.
- Mandarin Chinese and/or the local language is considered a strong advantage.
- This role requires onsite presence on business days.
