About the Role
Midlands State University is seeking four Data Capture Clerks for its Gweru Campus. This full-time, onsite position involves accurately transferring and managing data within an accounting environment.
Responsibilities
- Transferring data from paper formats into computer files.
- Inputting data provided by stakeholders.
- Creating accurate spreadsheets with large volumes of numerical data.
- Verifying data accuracy against source documents.
- Updating existing data records.
- Retrieving data from databases and electronic files upon request.
- Organizing and sorting paperwork after data entry to prevent loss.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Diploma in Accounting or Finance.
- At least one year of practical experience in an accounting setting.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as Pastel or Sage Evolution.
