Overview
This position is an internship opportunity at Tesla's Gigafactory in Berlin-Brandenburg, focusing on data analytics within the Material Planning team. The role lasts for six months starting in October, offering a chance to work full-time on-site in a dynamic international environment dedicated to advancing high-volume electric vehicle production.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring and reporting on essential KPIs related to material planning by delivering data tools and insights to support team efforts.
- Create and update reports, dashboards, and visual representations to aid strategic choices, including conducting analyses like what-if scenarios and cost evaluations.
- Explore and assess the potential incorporation of AI technologies within existing supply chain procedures.
- Use data mining, statistical approaches, and visualization methods to extract valuable insights from complex datasets tied to current production and upcoming projects.
- Collaborate with IT and software teams to clarify requirements and actively participate in software development phases, ranging from design to testing.
Candidate Profile
- Academic background in quantitative disciplines such as Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Analytics, or comparable professional experience showing exceptional skills.
- A methodical and quantitative mindset toward problem-solving.
- Knowledgeable about AI fundamentals with enthusiasm to experiment and utilize AI-driven tools.
- Proficient in SQL for querying large datasets.
- Experienced in programming languages like Python or R for data analysis and skilled in visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings effectively and succinctly.
- Collaborative and adaptable attitude, capable of fostering trust and credibility across various teams.
- Fluent in English, with German language skills considered an advantage.
