Role overview
Aaratech Inc. is looking for a Data Analyst focused on insurance operations to turn data into practical business insights. The position supports areas such as underwriting, claims, risk management, and overall decision-making through analysis, reporting, and trend identification.
What you’ll do
- Gather, prepare, and evaluate insurance datasets coming from different sources.
- Create dashboards and reports that track claims activity, policy performance, and business results.
- Spot patterns in the data and translate them into recommendations that improve efficiency and risk control.
- Work closely with teams across business, finance, underwriting, and IT to support informed decisions.
- Maintain high standards of data quality, consistency, and reporting accuracy.
- Share analytical outputs and business recommendations with stakeholders.
What we’re looking for
- A bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a similar discipline.
- 2–3 years of experience in a data analyst role, ideally with exposure to insurance or financial services.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Excel, and data visualization platforms.
- Prior experience handling insurance, claims, or policy-related information is an advantage.
- Good analytical thinking, communication ability, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred tools and knowledge
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or comparable business intelligence software.
- Understanding of insurance analytics, claims reporting, and risk analysis.
- Basic familiarity with Python or R for data analysis tasks.
- Experience using SQL databases and reporting tools.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Desktop Specialist, or Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate are considered a plus.
