Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst specializing in Healthcare, SQL, and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to join our team remotely based in St. Louis, MO. The candidate will collaborate closely with Data Modelers to develop and extend IBM UDMH aligned data models tailored to client requirements and handle comprehensive data profiling and analysis.
Primary Responsibilities
- Partner with Data Modelers to design conceptual, logical, and physical data models in accordance with IBM UDMH standards.
- Develop source-to-target mapping documents along with detailed data lineage information.
- Customize IBM UDMH data models to meet specific customer needs.
- Perform thorough data profiling across multiple healthcare systems including Epic, Cerner, Athena, and Oracle FDI to evaluate data quality, volume, granularity, and frequency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define subject-area models, and ensure compliance with data modeling standards including naming conventions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of metadata and uphold data governance protocols.
- Utilize data modeling tools such as ER/Studio, ERwin, or PowerDesigner.
- Implement ETL scripting and data transformation using SQL, Python, and Unix.
- Work with modern data platforms and technologies including Snowflake, Hadoop, Spark, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Technology or Engineering.
- 7 to 9 years of relevant experience in data analysis with a focus on healthcare data and revenue cycle management.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics applications and general technical data analysis is preferred.
