About the Role

Joining Walmart Canada as a Dairy/Frozen Associate presents an opportunity to develop retail and customer service expertise. The role involves delivering exceptional customer support while upholding Walmart's core values. You will be responsible for organizing and maintaining the dairy and frozen food sections, managing stock, and aiding in product sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and zone the dairy/frozen department to maintain an orderly appearance.
• Rotate inventory and monitor for expired products to ensure freshness and safety.
• Verify that merchandise is accurately signed and priced in accordance with store standards.
• Follow strict protocols for cold chain compliance, including thermometer calibration, temperature monitoring, and product handling.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures to maintain cleanliness.
• Execute ordering, clearance processes, and price adjustments such as markups and markdowns, including proper labeling.
• Maintain display features and promotional areas.
• Ensure the work area remains clean, organized, and free of debris, liquid spills, or unnecessary fixtures.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $17.75.
