About the Role
Wingpoint Dairy, operated by Pāmu Landcorp Farming Limited, invites applications for a hands-on Dairy Assistant position based near Wellington, New Zealand. This fixed-term opportunity begins immediately and extends through early October 2026. The role requires no prior milking experience as full training and continual support will be provided. It is ideal for individuals who have a genuine interest in farming and want to build their practical skills within a future-focused and supportive team environment.
Responsibilities and Work Environment
- Assist with daily dairy farm operations including caring for approximately 780 cows milked twice daily via a 70-bail rotary shed on a 330-hectare effective property.
- Contribute to pasture optimisation, ensuring animal health, and teamwork on the farm.
- Perform duties at the main farm near Martinborough and support block 10 minutes away.
- Work in a culture prioritizing safety, wellbeing, and ongoing improvement.
Who We’re Looking For
- A motivated individual with outdoor or similar work experience, dairy experience is not essential.
- Possession of either a restricted or full driver’s licence.
- A positive and proactive approach towards health, safety, and collaboration.
