Job description
Overview
Mindrift offers project-based AI work to subject-matter specialists for well-known technology companies. The focus is on evaluating, testing, and refining AI systems. This is not a permanent role; participation happens on a project-by-project basis.
What the work may include
- Creating and reviewing situations around fee questions and statement clarifications, including checking whether charges line up with published fee schedules and separating mapping-style descriptor questions from actual fraud allegations.
- Developing scenarios for autopay and payment setup that include common error cases such as using the wrong payee, insufficient-funds policy issues, incorrect draft dates, or skipped confirmation steps.
- Preparing card replacement and fraud-reporting scenarios that test urgency around card blocking, recognition of fraud signals, collection of key intake details, and smooth escalation to the disputes team.
- Writing account-closure cases that check retention-offer eligibility rules, look for pending transactions, and ensure offers are not extended to customers who do not qualify.
- Assessing responses for accuracy as well as communication quality, including empathy in tense situations, the right tone for voice or chat, and clear wording without making promises that cannot be kept.
Candidate profile
This opportunity is suited to professionals with experience in customer support, banking, or financial services who are comfortable with part-time, non-permanent project work.
How the process works
Application is followed by one or more qualification steps, then contributors join a project, complete assigned tasks, and receive payment.
Time commitment
During active project periods, the expected workload is about 10 to 20 hours per week. This is only an estimate and is not guaranteed; it applies only while the project is active.
Compensation
Contributors may earn up to the equivalent of $60 per hour on this project, depending on their level and contribution speed. Pay varies by project based on scope, complexity, and the expertise required.
Application note
Applicants should submit their CV in English and include their English proficiency level.
