Role Summary
This position is for a Customer Service Representative to manage order-related activities across Middle Eastern markets for Industrial Coatings (Metal) Middle East. The role involves working closely with customers, handling the full order cycle, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver dependable service.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily customer service tasks for industrial coating customers across the Middle East.
- Support customers with their orders and serve as a primary contact for service-related queries.
- Process orders end to end, including delivery coordination and TAS activities such as purchase orders, goods receipt notes, and invoicing.
- Work with supply, sales, demand, and logistics teams to keep order flow moving smoothly.
- Track and review performance and order issues such as OTIF, SLOB, and back orders.
- Register customer orders in the ERP system through email, phone, and other communication channels.
- Ensure orders are entered and managed accurately and within required timelines.
- Escalate delivery, document, or invoicing issues to the supervisor when needed.
- Respond to customer questions and support resolution of complaints at first contact level.
- Build product and customer knowledge to help suggest suitable or alternative solutions.
- Recommend improvements to work processes where possible.
- Maintain proper filing, archiving, and documentation of customer service records.
- Coordinate with field teams, planning, and logistics to keep customer order administration consistent.
- Follow all company and site policies, including conduct standards and health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Upload final documents to customer invoice portals accurately and on time to avoid errors.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in customer service.
- A university degree or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Hands-on knowledge of SAP ERP systems is required.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and manage multiple tasks at once.
- Good interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong customer service and negotiation skills.
- Ability to organize time well, prioritize work, and complete tasks efficiently.
- Understanding of related business functions such as sales, supply chain, marketing, and logistics.
