Role Overview

This position is for a recent graduate in Dubai who wants to work on pricing and commercial analytics. The work involves taking open-ended business questions, breaking them into manageable parts, analyzing data, and presenting practical recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and update pricing dashboards that monitor inventory quality, market competitiveness, and GM performance across the active portfolio.
• Conduct market and competitor pricing analysis by gathering, organizing, and interpreting external pricing data.
• Build, refine, and run SQL queries in BigQuery and Postgres to pull, clean, and verify data from production systems.
• Use Google Sheets or Python to develop analytical models that support day-to-day pricing decisions.
• Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly pricing reports, including data cleanup and refreshes.
• Experiment with LLM-based tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to automate repetitive analytical work.
• Work closely with Supply, Sales, and Commercial teams to ensure pricing decisions align with business goals.

Requirements

• You should be a recent graduate, ideally within the last 12 months, from Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or another quantitative or analytical discipline.
• A strong academic background is expected, such as GPA 3.5+ , First Class Honours, or Distinction.
• You must be comfortable handling unclear, unstructured business problems and turning them into clear recommendations.
• Strong analytical judgment and curiosity are important, including the ability to ask the right questions before using tools.
• You need to communicate clearly in both writing and presentations, including explaining complex ideas in a simple, structured manner.
• The role suits someone proactive, detail-focused, and able to work in a fast-moving environment with high ownership.
• Experience or proof of initiative beyond academics is valued, such as hackathon wins, founding a startup or club, recognized competitions, high-impact personal projects, or leadership in student organizations.
• You should be able to learn quickly, work with limited direction, and stay effective in situations with ambiguity.
