Role Overview

This role serves as the initial contact point for both internal and external customers, handling inbound inquiries, providing timely and accurate information, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure effective service delivery.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service through immediate resolution during inbound calls.
  • Handle national inbound calls and route queries accurately to the appropriate departments.
  • Manage expectations of customers internally and externally, communicating any changes in deliveries promptly.
  • Process customer orders including cylinders, liquids, forward orders, and work orders via multiple channels such as phone, email, fax, and electronic systems.
  • Ensure daily closure of orders and invoices with accuracy.
  • Provide customers with invoices, credit notes, statements, and delivery confirmations.
  • Manage credit note uploads and perform cross-referencing using templates.
  • Support customer portal setup and address related inquiries.
  • Take part in training, performance development plans, team meetings, and business initiatives.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in managing inbound calls on a national level.
  • Skilled in order processing and invoicing for a wide customer base across the nation.
  • Proficient with ERP systems and familiar with Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong communication skills paired with a professional and customer-focused mindset.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable using order management systems and handling financial transactions.
  • Committed to safety, proactive, and open to ongoing improvement.
  • Team player with a positive, collaborative attitude.
