Job description
Role overview
Mitre 10 MEGA Brougham St is a locally owned and operated store focused on delivering outstanding service to every customer, every time. The business is seeking two full-time team members to join the Customer Service & Checkouts team at its Saint Andrews, Canterbury location.
Working pattern
Applicants must be available for either Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday shifts. Candidates should clearly note their availability in their application.
What the role involves
This position is centered on customer support in a busy, fast-moving environment. You will handle general customer questions, manage returns, resolve issues, process purchases, and assist with a range of front-line service tasks. The work requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly under pressure.
Team culture
The store is looking for people who will thrive in a supportive, inclusive workplace where customer service is a priority, attitude matters more than experience, and the team contributes to exciting customer projects.
What the team is looking for
The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, a strong team mindset, a genuine commitment to service excellence, good time management, physical fitness, a willingness to learn, and clear communication skills. Previous customer service or cash-handling experience is an advantage, but applicants with a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn will also be considered.
How to apply
Interested candidates should submit a cover letter and CV through the application process.
