Job description
Role overview
This position focuses on loading, transporting, and unloading grocery orders safely and on time while meeting scheduled delivery commitments. A key part of the role is protecting customer property from damage and delivering a high standard of service throughout each interaction.
Key duties
- Load, deliver, and unload groceries with care and within agreed timeframes.
- Maintain a customer-first approach and deliver courteous service at every stop.
- Use sign-on-glass technology for all deliveries.
- Complete pre-shift vehicle checks before starting work.
- Keep vehicles clean both inside and out.
- Follow SH&E policy and carry out safety-related responsibilities.
- Handle challenging customer situations professionally.
