About the Role
This position focuses on helping small and medium-sized businesses grow through Google’s advertising products. As a Customer Growth Associate on the Google Customer Solutions team, you will combine a sales mindset with a strong understanding of online media to support customer success, uncover business needs, and recommend solutions that help clients reach ambitious goals.
You will work closely with sellers and business owners, building trusted relationships and contributing to the future of advertising in the AI era. The role requires comfort with change, a proactive approach, and the ability to create measurable outcomes for both customers and Google.
Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on professional experience.
- Background in digital sales, account/client management, customer service, business development, customer outreach, marketing, consulting, digital advertising, or a related area.
- Fluency in both English and German, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients in the German market.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Google Ads or broader online advertising, ideally supported by Google Digital Workshop certification or similar practical experience.
- Ability to turn ideas into persuasive client narratives using storytelling techniques.
- Strong stakeholder influence skills, both within the organization and with external partners.
- Experience managing an advertising or media sales portfolio in Germany and repeatedly exceeding quotas to support business growth.
Responsibilities
- Meet ambitious quarterly goals for business growth and product adoption.
- Build and maintain client relationships through phone and email outreach, then guide customers on how to improve returns from their Google Ads investment.
- Manage a portfolio of small-business customers by understanding their growth drivers, spotting opportunities, reducing risks, and creating quarterly action plans.
- Improve customer outcomes by delivering a strong sales experience and helping clients achieve their marketing and business objectives.
Compensation and Benefits
The stated pay range for Ireland is €60,000 to €61,500 annually, plus a 30% bonus target, equity, and benefits. Final pay is based on role-related skills, experience, education, or training.
