Role overview
This role sits within a retail environment where the focus is on delivering a strong in-store experience and supporting customers across a wide range of products and services. The business serves shoppers with everything from groceries and household items to clothing, appliances, and financial services. What you will do
- Make customer needs the first priority in every task.
- Build familiarity with customers and serve them in a friendly, confident manner.
- Help keep products and services available for shoppers at all times.
- Handle merchandise carefully so quality is preserved through to the customer.
- Maintain a clean and organised shop floor as well as back-of-house areas.
- Follow the training provided and carry out departmental processes and routines correctly.
- Work in line with company policies and health and safety procedures.
- Support other departments when needed, even if your main duties are in one area.
