About the Role
This opportunity is with Mercor, a company that connects top-tier creative and technical professionals with leading AI research teams. The business is based in San Francisco and counts Benchmark, General Catalyst, Peter Thiel, Adam D'Angelo, Larry Summers, and Jack Dorsey among its investors.
The opening is for a Humanities, arts, and culture evaluator who will assess AI-generated content using structured quality standards and subject expertise.
Compensation
The pay range for this contract role is $80 to $120 per hour.
Location
This position is fully remote.
What You Will Do
- Review AI-created materials using field-specific evaluation criteria.
- Spot mistakes related to accuracy, visual quality, and presentation in documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks.
- Write clear and organized feedback that helps improve model outputs.
- Use strong knowledge of Humanities, arts, and culture to judge the quality of responses.
- Work on your own schedule, independently and asynchronously, while meeting deadlines and maintaining evaluation quality.
Required Background
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in Humanities, arts, or culture.
- Fluent English, either native-level or professional.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, with particular experience in Slides.
Preferred Profile
- Advanced academic qualification such as a Master's degree or higher from a respected institution.
