About the Role

This position is for a General Science Expert operating on a contract basis, fully remote, compensated at $75 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Create challenging, expert-level problems that cover a broad range of scientific fields including physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics.
- Assess problems authored by peers for clarity, genuine level of difficulty, and factual accuracy.
- Analyze and compare outputs produced by AI models across different scientific domains, providing verdicts of Accept, Revise, or Reject supported by detailed written explanations.
- Work alongside subject matter specialists to maintain dataset consistency and rigor.
- Operate autonomously and asynchronously, ensuring deadlines are met while contributing to the enhancement of AI model performance.
Candidate Qualifications
- Proven expertise and strong analytical ability across multiple STEM disciplines.
- Capability to assess scientific correctness beyond a single field of specialization.
- Excellent scientific writing skills combined with a high level of attention to detail.
- Preferred candidates include those who have received medals or awards at science Olympiads such as IPhO, IChO, IBO, or IMO, competition victors, or polymath researchers.
