About the Role
The DTC & Growth division is central to ESPN's direct-to-consumer efforts, merging sports passion with subscriber growth throughout the customer lifecycle. This team integrates product marketing, subscriber strategies, CRM, creative, and marketing operations to attract, convert, and retain subscribers across ESPN’s digital offerings, including the ESPN app, Fantasy app, and streaming services. Key initiatives focus on enhancing fan discovery, engagement, and retention to cultivate lifelong users.
ESPN seeks a skilled and enthusiastic professional to join the Lifecycle Marketing & CRM team. The role entails comprehensive management of customer marketing campaigns across the subscriber journey, covering onboarding, ongoing engagement, and retention efforts. The Coordinator will oversee campaign creation, audience segmentation, testing, deployment, and performance evaluation while collaborating closely with Product Marketing, Analytics, Operations, and Creative departments. This position reports to the Senior Director and is located in New York, NY.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full execution cycle of CRM campaigns utilizing email, push notifications, and in-app messaging.
- Collaborate with Marketing Operations to ensure precise audience targeting, campaign configuration, quality assurance, scheduling, and launch processes.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to handle campaign requests, timelines, creative assets, approvals, and readiness for launch.
- Confirm all campaigns launch punctually, with messaging, targeting, links, and creatives meeting quality standards.
- Act as a primary liaison for Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, Media, Programming, and other stakeholders regarding CRM capabilities and campaign planning.
- Support lifecycle marketing programs focusing on subscriber onboarding, engagement, and retention phases.
- Track campaign metrics and interpret data to uncover insights, suggest optimizations, and define best practices.
- Prepare routine reports, presentations, and executive summaries showcasing campaign performance, test findings, and business impact.
- Contribute to CRM testing roadmaps development, including segmentation, messaging, creative, and channel strategies.
- Partner with Analytics, Product, Operations, and Marketing teams to enhance customer experience and promote subscriber growth, engagement, retention, and lifetime value.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 months of experience in CRM, digital marketing, or a related discipline.
- Proven ability in executing and managing programs within a dynamic environment.
- Strong team player capable of collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting deadlines consistently.
- Excellent communication skills and responsiveness.
- Self-motivated with a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Exceptional attention to detail.

The role is based in New York, NY, with a typical workweek of 40 hours, although hours may vary depending on business needs. The salary range for this position spans $56,600 to $75,900 annually, adjusted based on internal fairness, candidate experience, skills, and geographic location. Compensation may also include bonuses or long-term incentive units along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical and financial benefits tailored to the role and employee level.
