Credit Manager (Saudi National)

About The Role

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company is seeking a Credit Manager based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to oversee the daily operations related to accounts receivables. This role ensures invoices are accurate and dispatched promptly, followed by proactive management of overdue accounts. The Credit Manager will also evaluate and authorize credit requests from incoming customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate accurate financial reports and presentations within set deadlines.
• Perform tasks including compiling, coding, calculating, auditing, and verifying financial data.
• Complete accounts receivable closing processes and credit reporting on time.
• Ensure adherence to the established credit policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with sales and catering teams to facilitate timely credit decisions.
• Apply accounting knowledge and judgment to credit management challenges.
• Utilize software and computer systems effectively for data processing and information management.
• Assess compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
• Stay technically updated and enhance job-related expertise continually.
• Monitor collections diligently, issuing appropriate follow-up communications.
• Submit timely and accurate reports documenting profits and losses.
• Set and exceed performance, budget, and team objectives.
• Monitor tax obligations ensuring compliance and proper accounting.
• Communicate proactively with supervisors, colleagues, and other departments via various means.
• Support organizational units by advising on accounting, budgeting, and financial resource optimization.
• Analyze information critically to resolve issues effectively.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and internal departments.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor's degree (4-year) in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• No previous work experience is required for this position.
