As a Credit Collections Officer based in Milton, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts across Australia, nurturing strong relationships with customers, and driving effective debt collection results that help propel company success. This role is suited for individuals confident in communication, skilled in negotiation and problem-solving, and motivated by delivering measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee debtor accounts to maximize cash inflow and reduce overdue debts.
- Interact with customers through inbound and outbound communications, aiming for successful debt recovery while maintaining positive engagement.
- Formulate and deploy collection strategies to enhance cash flow and minimize Days Sales Outstanding.
- Track collection metrics accurately, provide reporting, and aid in meeting team goals and projections.
- Work collaboratively with both internal departments and external partners to solve account issues and foster ongoing process enhancements.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in debt collection, accounts receivable, credit control, or related client-centered roles.
- Excellent skills in negotiation, conflict resolution, and building strong customer relationships.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and fulfill deadlines in fast-moving environments.
- Strong analytical capabilities for data interpretation, trend spotting, and sound decision-making.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating dedication to superior customer service.
