About the Role
Join Algro International LLC's Simply So Foods brand as a Creative Content Manager, based in Irvine, CA, working onsite five days a week with occasional travel to events, pop-ups, and tradeshows. This full-time position reports to the Head of Brand and plays a vital role in shaping the visual identity of a premium frozen rice brand with a decade-long farming heritage in Thailand and India. The brand is expanding with new products and national retail presence, offering genuine farm-to-freezer storytelling and dynamic growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead creative development and execution for all brand assets including paid ads, packaging, trade show booths, and sales materials, ensuring a polished, consistent visual identity.
- Design and oversee packaging artwork for new flavors, product lines, and certification adjustments, managing dielines, print specifications, and pre-press communications with printers.
- Direct and manage creation of paid social and digital advertising content in collaboration with the paid media agency, continuously optimizing for performance.
- Produce compelling sales tools such as sell sheets, retailer line-review decks, and point-of-sale displays that effectively support sales efforts.
- Develop experiential marketing visuals for roadshows, popups, tradeshows, and retail activations, including booth and demo station graphics.
- Coordinate and lead creative projects for co-branded collaborations and partnership campaigns, maintaining consistent brand aesthetics.
- Maintain and evolve brand visual guidelines to ensure cohesive presentation across channels, vendors, and sister brands.
- Manage relationships with vendors, including printers, fabricators, and photo/video production teams to ensure budget, timeline, and quality goals are met.
- Collaborate closely with the Social Media Manager to align organic content with overall brand creative efforts.
Candidate Profile
- 3 to 5 years of experience in creative or design roles within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector, particularly in food and beverage.
- Proficient expert user of Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Familiarity with packaging production processes such as dielines, print specs, and pre-press, or the ability to quickly learn these skills.
- Experience crafting trade and retail marketing designs that deliver both visual appeal and performance results.
- A diverse portfolio showcasing premium packaging polish and engaging paid social media creativity.
- Strong project management capabilities, capable of juggling multiple projects, managing vendor schedules, and meeting strict deadlines.
- A refined aesthetic sense with knowledge of premium food brands and a clear vision for what defines a premium rice brand's image.
- Resides in or can commit to working onsite in Irvine, CA.
Preferred Qualifications
- Portfolio including food packaging design for CPG brands.
- Experience with experiential marketing or trade show design.
- Skills in motion graphics and coordination of photo/video shoots.
- Knowledge of retail media creative standards such as Walmart Connect and Instacart.
- Background in frozen food branding is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
