Queensland's court services play a vital role as a foundational element of civil society. Amid an ongoing period of transformation and reform within the Queensland courts, this position offers a unique chance to be actively involved in these significant changes.
Employing over 1,300 skilled and dedicated individuals statewide, Court Services Queensland (CSQ) delivers a variety of services that support an independent judiciary and aim to produce quality outcomes for the community. In this role, collaboration with the judiciary will deepen your understanding of the legal system and provide gratifying experiences contributing to the administration of justice in Queensland.
You will be instrumental in helping court users comprehend court processes, enhancing their experience, and ensuring safety within the court environment by offering support and empathy.
Key Responsibilities
As a Court Services Officer, you will actively contribute to the modernization and enhancement of the court system focusing on safety, innovation, efficiency, and improving access to justice. Your role within a dynamic team committed to developing a more responsive and user-friendly court system involves adapting to emerging practices and making a meaningful difference in Queensland courts' transformation.
You will ensure the smooth execution of administrative tasks, manage case progression effectively, and offer support to judicial officers within the courtroom. These responsibilities support comprehensive service delivery for the public, judicial officers, and numerous internal and external stakeholders.
