About the Role
This fixed-term full-time position at the Christchurch District Court is integral to the efficient functioning of the Family Court Registry, running until 30 June 2027. The Court Registry Officer is a key player in the justice system, working collaboratively with judiciary members, lawyers, and the public to ensure smooth court operations.
Key Responsibilities
The core duty involves court taking—managing court sessions by opening them in both English and Te Reo Māori, supporting judiciary members in courtrooms and chambers, and handling various court administrative tasks. The Ministry of Justice is also implementing a major digital transformation project called Te Au Reka, introducing digital case files and workflow solutions. This role supports the team during the preparation and deployment of this new system.

Salary
