Your Role
We are searching for a dynamic Country Manager to fully leverage the current success of the business. The brand enjoys strong market demand and respect, presenting significant growth possibilities. Your mandate will be to establish robust operating procedures, enhance leadership capabilities, and implement systems that consistently convert customer demand into excellent operational performance and sustained profitability. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will oversee the entire Bushmans profit and loss, lead five operational sites, and manage national commercial activities. Your leadership will catalyze the company's transformation into a lean, data-driven, performance-oriented manufacturing operation emphasizing operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement, while nurturing commercial partnership growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the overall performance and profitability of Bushmans.
- Ensure operational projects achieve measurable financial targets, including EBITDA growth, enhanced productivity, and improved margins.
- Lead and optimize manufacturing operations across five sites.
- Establish and reinforce consistent operations management systems, regular management rhythms, and performance disciplines company-wide.
- Enhance production planning, scheduling, throughput, and facility capacity use.
- Improve supply chain reliability, inventory control, and working capital management.
- Boost equipment reliability through maintenance and operational efficiencies.
- Advance customer service levels by improving on-time-in-full (OTIF), quality, and delivery outcomes.
- Develop leadership skills and accountability within teams throughout the organization.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing methodologies, continuous improvement initiatives, and daily management systems.
Candidate Profile
- Proven leader with experience managing multi-site manufacturing operations.
- Strong commercial insight and complete P&L management experience.
- Data-driven, disciplined leadership approach with a high degree of accountability.
- History of driving operational transformation and business improvements.
- Expertise in production, supply chain, planning, maintenance, quality control, and inventory management.
- Experience deploying Lean Manufacturing principles and fostering continuous improvement cultures.
- Well-versed in ERP/MRP systems, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), and manufacturing operations frameworks.
- Hands-on leadership style with visible presence on the production floor to establish credibility.
- Skilled in root cause analysis, solving complex operational problems, and delivering long-term sustainable improvements.
- Strong mentorship and leadership development skills.
