Educational and Professional Requirements

  • A minimum of five years' relevant experience working with partners or distributors of vendor-related goods and services.
  • Possession of relevant vendor certifications not older than three years.
  • University degree qualification.
  • High integrity, meticulous attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a strong focus on optimizing company profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Business Planning

  • Develop and submit an annual business plan.
  • Ensure high-quality execution of strategies and planned activities.
  • Set a yearly schedule for planning sessions, business reviews, and sales meetings.
  • Identify optimal periods for market introduction of resources and technologies.

Financial & Budget Management

  • Participate in the preparation and provide oversight of budgets.
  • Conduct quarterly financial reviews with the Finance and Administration Manager to monitor budget compliance.
  • Lead the recovery process for accounts receivables according to group financial policies.
  • Safeguard company assets, securities, and funds effectively.

Compliance, Risk & Legal

  • Define local channel terms and conditions consistent with group financial guidelines.
  • Advocate and enforce standard company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, identify risk factors, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Continuously monitor business and operational process compliance within the group.
  • Oversee legal functions locally in collaboration with the central legal team.

Sales, Channel & Revenue Management

  • Conduct quarterly evaluations of partner landscapes and implement necessary follow-ups.
  • Drive robust sales management and forecasting to achieve reliable revenue and cash flow.
  • Manage marketing qualified leads (MQLs) effectively.
  • Review weekly reports on sales, backlog, inventory, and receivables.
  • Improve forecasting accuracy and quality continuously.
  • Provide quarterly insights on market trends, channel performance, categories, and vendor details.

Inventory & Operations

  • Manage comprehensive inventory processes to support predictable sales and minimize aging stock.
  • Escalate issues related to receivables, inventory, and resource allocation promptly.
  • Implement continuous resource review systems.

People & HR Management

  • Ensure sales and marketing teams are fully equipped to perform their roles efficiently.
  • Implement variable compensation schemes in line with central group policies.
  • Apply group HR policies comprehensively across all HR functions.
  • Oversee team productivity, sustainability, and performance metrics.
  • Provide mentoring, training, and career development opportunities for team members.

Deliverables and Key Performance Indicators

  • Annual business and financial plans with monthly targets.
  • Resource plans aligned to business needs on a yearly basis.
  • Forecast reports on sales weekly, bi-monthly, and monthly.
  • Weekly inventory status updates.
  • Monthly reporting on business fundamentals including sales, backlog, net profit, inventory, receivables, and cash balances.
  • Active participation and attendance in vendor-related activities.
  • Market share growth.
  • Achievement of supplier milestones.
  • Revenue targets.
  • Business rebate realization.
  • Gross profit optimization.
  • Day sales outstanding (DSO) management.
  • Day sales inventory (DSI) control.
  • Cash on books (COB) maintenance.
  • Positive cash flow generation.

Additional Information

  • Role involves business travel within other countries, group entities, hubs, headquarters, and vendor locations as required.
  • All business-related expenses will be covered within an approved budget.
  • Compensation and benefits are negotiable and aligned with local market standards.
  • Potential career progression to Regional Sales Manager or Vendor Business Development Manager roles.
