About the Role
Join PwC New Zealand as a Manager or Senior Manager specializing in Corporate Tax, working part-time from Auckland. This role involves leading a team of seasoned tax advisors delivering strategic tax reviews and innovative client services. Collaborate across departments and innovate in servicing high-profile global clients. A strong interest in tax and entrepreneurial drive are essential for success in this stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize GenAI, digital technologies, PwC methodologies, and established quality frameworks to enhance efficiency, consistency, and client satisfaction.
- Mentor, delegate tasks to, and support junior members in advisory and compliance projects.
- Develop and maintain outstanding client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to support sustainable business growth.
- Identify and seize opportunities for business development, growing client portfolios strategically.
- Deliver technically sound and practical advice on complex tax issues including acquisitions, divestments, tax reviews, and corporate tax challenges.
- Lead the management and execution of tax advisory and compliance projects of varying complexity, with support from Tax Partners.
- Engage with global clients across various industries while advancing your professional skills.
Skills and Experience Required
- Extensive tax experience exceeding four years in professional environments handling complex advisory assignments.
- In-depth knowledge of tax legislation and revenue authority practices, preferably within New Zealand or comparable jurisdictions.
- Proven leadership capabilities managing teams or complex projects.
- Strong strategic experience in business development and client relationship management.
- International tax experience combined with New Zealand tax expertise is advantageous.

- Travel commitments may be up to 20% of the time.
