Corporate Finance Director – M&A

About the Role and Company

Our client is a well-established professional services firm, currently expanding their Corporate Finance team with a focus on Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A). They seek an experienced Corporate Finance Director to spearhead deal origination, lead various transactions, and contribute significantly to the firm's growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate and develop enduring client relationships to identify new M&A opportunities.
• Lead both buy-side and sell-side transactions from initial mandate through to successful completion.
• Provide strategic and commercial advice pertaining to transactions for clients.
• Collaborate closely with Corporate Finance Partners to enhance the M&A practice and secure new business.
• Foster connections within the broader advisory services to create comprehensive client solutions.
• Guide and mentor junior Corporate Finance team members.
• Effectively manage multiple concurrent transactions while ensuring exemplary client service standards.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience at either Director level or highly prepared Associate Director ready for promotion.
• Demonstrable success in originating and executing M&A deals.
• Background in a Big 4 firm, major mid-tier organization, specialized corporate finance boutique, or independent advisory practice.
• Well-established professional network coupled with strong business development acumen.
• A proactive, commercially minded, growth-oriented, and entrepreneurial approach.

Additional Information

Location: Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland. Employment type: full-time, onsite. Salary is dependent on experience and supplemented with a bonus and benefits package.
