Position Summary
We are looking for a Coordinator, Talent Marketing specializing in Basketball to join our team immediately. This role requires the candidate to work onsite at our West Hollywood office at least three days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare pre-meeting briefs that include company research and detailed bios of each attendee.
- Continuously track industry and business trade news to spot potential companies and brands that could align with Excel's NIL talent, properties, and brand marketing.
- Identify emerging categories and relevant industry trends.
- Manage the basketball sales CRM using Salesforce by organizing, updating, and exporting sales pipelines ahead of weekly team calls.
- Collaborate with the sales team to gather account updates and provide weekly internal activity reports.
- Maintain and input client data into Excel's intranet system.
- Support the basketball sales team by conducting daily prospecting and assisting with outreach activities.
- Build and nurture strategic relationships in key sectors.
- Identify new clients and target prospects for the agency.
- Create meeting agendas, summarize discussions, and distribute vital information to the team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
- Preferred 1-2 years of experience in Sports Marketing and/or Sales.
Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional organizational capabilities with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of the sports sponsorship market, including key players, industry values, and activation strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse audiences.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving team environment with meticulous attention to detail.
- Committed to producing high-quality work, upholding ethics, integrity, and compliance standards.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines with minimal oversight.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; basic skills in Adobe Photoshop and Acrobat Pro are desirable.
- Highly responsive and accessible in professional communications.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Exhibits sound judgment and discretion in interpersonal relations.
Compensation & Additional Information
Annual salary ranges from $55,000 to $60,000, commensurate with experience. This is a non-exempt role eligible for overtime pay according to applicable laws. Benefits and discretionary bonuses are available. The position is not open for sponsorship.
