East West Records operates within WMG’s global ecosystem, connecting central marketing teams, international repertoire owners, and digital account managers. It supports the U.S. launches of artists from over 40 countries, managing global repertoire optimization, release scheduling, revenue analysis, artist development, and advocacy across WMG’s affiliates.

Role Overview

The Marketing Coordinator will oversee the management of a vast release schedule from international artists, ensuring synchronized global release dates and optimizing artist success. This dynamic role involves collaborating on financial and digital strategies to broaden the global reach of Warner Music’s international artists.

Core Responsibilities

• Assist in releasing and optimizing Warner Music’s international music every week.
• Update and maintain the release schedule for internal teams and DSP partners.
• Verify financial data identifiers and report inconsistencies to the appropriate teams.
• Communicate any delivery or mapping problems to Repertoire Owners.
• Conduct scheduling audits regularly with the Central Scheduling team.
• Prepare monthly reports highlighting international priority artists and relevant audio for Warner Music labels.
• Manage the full finance process for U.S. marketing campaigns, including vendor onboarding, purchase order setup, and invoice tracking.
• Organize East West’s submissions to WMG’s Global Pitch Tools efficiently.
• Gather and manage data on playlists, touring, chart results, streaming activity, and revenue in detailed spreadsheets for actionable insights.
• Perform regular reviews of artist rosters and clean up systems to keep data accurate and current.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Between 1 to 3 years of experience in administrative, operations, or data entry roles (experience in music or media sectors is preferred).
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Experienced handling large metadata datasets.
• Proficient in Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets and Excel functions like Pivot tables and VLookup.
• Familiarity with Airtable, Spotify Analytics, Tableau, Chartmetric, and Sodatone is advantageous.
• A passion for advanced technology and innovative approaches.
• Strong interest in the Warner Music catalog and global music trends.
• Additional language skills and enthusiasm for international music are pluses.
• Excellent interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills with integrity and trustworthiness.
• A proactive, resourceful self-starter with problem-solving capabilities.

Additional Information

This position requires working in the office a minimum of four days per week, valuing in-person collaboration crucial to artist development and team relationships.
