Job description
Job Overview
The cook is responsible for preparing both hot and cold meals for residents, strictly following hygiene protocols including HACCP, and maintaining quality standards. Collaborating closely with the kitchen manager, the role ensures smooth kitchen operations and supports catering events, buffets, receptions, and other facility occasions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare warm and cold dishes for residents with a focus on quality and hygiene.
- Ensure adherence to HACCP hygiene regulations and overall quality standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen manager to maintain proper workflows within the kitchen area.
- Organize and assist in catering services, buffets, receptions, and other internal events.
- Support the kitchen management in ordering supplies and inspecting incoming goods.
- Manage cleanliness and orderliness of storage and refrigeration areas.
Qualifications
- Completed training as a cook (Koch/Köchin) with several years of professional cooking experience.
- Preferably experienced in preparing meals according to nutritional and individual needs, especially for senior citizens and those requiring care.
