About the Role

This position is part of the Food & Beverage Culinary team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and is a full-time, non-management role with no remote work option. The role supports a hotel environment focused on delivering reliable, high-quality food service with strong attention to standards, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare cooking ingredients by portioning, chopping, storing, washing, peeling, weighing, and measuring items as needed.
• Cook and assemble menu items according to recipes, presentation guidelines, quality requirements, and kitchen checklists.
• Handle cold food preparation and operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Check food for proper doneness and monitor quality throughout the preparation process.
• Set up the workstation at the start of service and restore it after use.
• Plate and portion food correctly into appropriate serving containers.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, utensils, knives, equipment, and work areas.
• Verify appliance and food temperatures to help maintain safety and quality.
• Follow company policies, safety rules, and security procedures at all times.
• Report maintenance issues, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to a supervisor promptly.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and respect confidentiality requirements.
• Communicate clearly and work collaboratively with coworkers to support team goals.
• Adhere to expected quality standards and complete other duties assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED-equivalent education is preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience is required.
• No prior supervisory experience is needed.
• No license or certification is required.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods and perform bending, twisting, reaching, pulling, and stooping tasks.
• Capability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place items weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
