About the Role

We are collaborating with a prominent Irish main contractor to recruit an experienced Construction Manager for a flagship, large-scale industrial development located in Kildare. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction operations on-site, ensuring smooth workflow.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors along with direct labour teams effectively.
• Lead programme delivery efforts, focusing on short-term planning to meet deadlines.
• Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations throughout the construction process.
• Monitor quality assurance, ensuring all works comply with specifications.
• Collaborate closely with project management, engineering, and commercial departments.
• Identify potential project risks and address programme challenges proactively.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders and coordinate site activities seamlessly.
• Assist in preparing project reports and progress updates for senior leadership.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrable experience as a Construction Manager, Senior Project Manager, or Senior Site Manager within a main contracting environment.
• Proven track record managing large-scale projects in sectors such as industrial, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, commercial, or data centres.
• Strong leadership capabilities coupled with excellent communication skills.
• In-depth understanding of construction methods and project sequencing.
• Ability to handle multiple subcontractor packages efficiently.
• Strong emphasis on safety, quality, and timely programme delivery.
• Relevant construction qualifications are desirable.
