Job description

Overview

Mindrift offers project-based connections between specialists and leading tech companies focusing on AI systems testing, evaluation, and enhancement. These opportunities are temporary and project-specific, rather than permanent employment.

Role Responsibilities

  • Design and assess rule application scenarios by interpreting compliance documents (such as advertisements, disclosures, and policies) against relevant regulations, citing precise subsections for compliance or violation.
  • Compose sanctions alert disposition cases with detailed false-positive justifications and escalation procedures.
  • Create compliance testing scenarios including sample selection, test formulation, documentation of findings, and preparing examiner-ready conclusion reports.
  • Identify policy gaps where internal policies are silent, contradictory, or outdated compared to regulatory requirements.
  • Accurately document all test cases with exact regulatory citations, avoiding approximations or fabrications.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum two years' experience in compliance, audit, legal, risk management, or financial sectors.
  • Current or recent professional background in compliance and regulatory affairs, financial crimes, or similar fields.
  • Strong attention to citation accuracy, willing to flag uncertainties rather than approximate.
  • Relevant certifications like CRCM, CAMS, or local equivalents are highly valued; prior regulatory examiner or inspector experience is also advantageous.
  • Proficient written English communication skills, at least C1 level or higher.

Project Details and Compensation

Engagement follows the process: application submission → qualification assessment → project onboarding → task completion → payment.

Task hours vary by project stage, approximating 10 to 20 hours weekly during active phases; workload is subject to project demands and not guaranteed.

Payment rates for this project can reach up to $60 per hour, contingent on contributor expertise and productivity. Compensation may differ for other projects depending on complexity and requirements.

Application Instructions

Applicants should submit their CV in English, clearly stating their English proficiency level.

Leave it if you'd like a reply — we won't use it for anything else.
