Overview
The Compensation & Benefits Specialist at Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC) plays a crucial role in designing, implementing, and refining the company’s compensation and benefits structure. This position ensures the organization’s reward systems are competitive, fair, and aligned with strategic business objectives through activities like job evaluation and salary data analysis.
Key Duties
- Assist in developing and managing compensation and benefits initiatives.
- Conduct job evaluations and update job grading and organizational frameworks.
- Carry out market benchmarking and analyze salary data to maintain competitive pay practices.
- Support compensation policy reviews and implementation of procedures.
- Analyze compensation information, generate reports, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Contribute to salary reviews, promotional decisions, and compensation allowances.
- Help implement job architecture and grading models.
- Engage in compensation and organizational design efforts, including collaboration on external consultancy projects.
- Monitor compensation trends and suggest enhancements to boost talent attraction, retention, and internal fairness.
- Ensure all compensation practices comply with company standards and relevant regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or similar fields.
- Between four and six years’ experience in Compensation & Benefits, Rewards, HR Analytics, or HR Operations roles.
- Professional certifications such as GRP, CCP, CIPD Rewards, or SHRM-CP are advantageous.
