Role overview

A reputable organization in Saudi Arabia is looking for a Compensation Benefits Specialist to join its Human Resources function in Riyadh. This full-time, on-site role is focused on supporting the design, administration, and ongoing improvement of compensation and benefits programs. The position plays a key part in maintaining fair pay practices, internal consistency, and alignment with company rules and applicable laws.

This opportunity is well suited to HR professionals who want to deepen their experience in total rewards while working in a fast-moving corporate setting.

What you will do

  • Run compensation and benefits processes in line with internal policies.
  • Support annual salary reviews, promotion-related changes, and pay adjustments.
  • Carry out job evaluations and help maintain the organization’s grading framework.
  • Research market pay data and benchmark salaries to inform compensation decisions.
  • Build compensation reports, analysis, and dashboard updates for leadership.
  • Coordinate the administration of employee benefits such as medical coverage, allowances, and leave-related benefits.
  • Keep compensation and benefits records accurate and updated in HR systems.
  • Assist in drafting and revising compensation and benefits policies and procedures.
  • Support restructuring efforts and job architecture projects.
  • Handle questions from employees and managers about pay and benefits.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and other business teams to deliver smooth service.
  • Ensure all activities follow labor regulations and internal governance standards.

What we are looking for

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, Total Rewards, Payroll, or a similar HR area.
  • Practical understanding of compensation structures, salary administration, and employee benefits.
  • Prior exposure to job evaluation and salary benchmarking is preferred.
  • Strong analytical ability and a structured approach to solving problems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience using HRIS platforms is preferred.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfort in dealing with confidential information in a professional and trustworthy manner.

Preferred background

Professional certification in Compensation & Benefits or Total Rewards, such as GRP, CCP, or CIPD, is considered an advantage. Experience gained in a large corporate environment or a multi-business organization is also beneficial, as is familiarity with Saudi labor regulations and reward practices.
