About the Role
We are recruiting for various hierarchical levels—Associate (L1), Senior Analyst (L2), and Lead (L3)—within our Compensation & Benefits team, part of the HR Shared Services. This role is based in Chennai, India, requiring mandatory work from office during US night shifts on a five-day weekly schedule. The position supports US-based operations and requires candidates with 1 to 8 years of relevant experience. Workday expertise is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute salary modifications including pay components and one-time payments accurately.
- Administer employee benefits by managing enrollments, modifications, and validations.
- Ensure timely and precise updates in human resource systems such as Workday.
- Address employee inquiries on compensation, benefit deductions, and other related concerns.
- Operate through case management tools to document and handle tickets appropriately.
- Provide solutions for intermediate complexity cases and escalate as necessary.
- Conduct thorough validations to guarantee error-free data processing.
- Maintain comprehensive employee records, approvals, and documentation compliance.
- Support audit preparedness and enforce regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with payroll teams to facilitate transactions affecting pay and ensure reliable data exchange.
- Engage with HR operations and internal partners to streamline processes.
- Manage and maintain data trackers, dashboards, and productivity metrics.
- Identify inefficiencies and propose enhancements for operational improvements.
- Contribute to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) updates and facilitate knowledge sharing.
- For Lead Role: Supervise and mentor a team of analysts, oversee productivity and service level agreements (SLAs), manage queues, act as an escalation resource for complex issues, and spearhead quality assurance and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or related discipline.
- Proven experience in HR operations, payroll, or compensation and benefits management.
- Hands-on familiarity with HR systems, Workday preferred.
- Strong command of MS Excel and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication coupled with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work efficiently within structured, deadline-driven environments.
- Core competencies include meticulous attention to detail, strict adherence to processes, confidentiality and data integrity, proactive case management, and collaborative stakeholder engagement.
