About Klaviyo and Role Overview

Our Commercial Account Executives (AEs) play a vital role in shaping Klaviyo's growth by expertly managing relationships and closing deals that benefit both clients and the company. This position is hybrid, based in our Sydney office, focused on the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities within the Commercial segment across Australia and New Zealand.
- Manage a dynamic sales pipeline with strategies designed for sustained success in the territory.
- Work closely with product, engineering, partnerships, and customer success teams to ensure smooth client onboarding.
- Contribute positively to the energetic and collaborative culture of the Sydney office.
- Uphold company values such as accountability and dedication throughout all interactions.
- Integrate AI tools and strategies into workflows to enhance efficiency and innovation.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum three years of sales experience, with at least two years in SaaS or marketing technology focused on acquiring new clients.
- Proven ability to handle SMB or Commercial sized transactions involving multiple decision-makers.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with both internal teams (Business Development, Marketing, Operations, Partnerships) and external clients or agencies.
- Highly motivated, independent, and results-driven, thriving in entrepreneurial environments.
- Experienced in data-driven decision-making and maintaining sales pipeline accuracy.
- Proficient in experimenting with AI technologies to improve work processes responsibly.
- Eligible to work in Australia without any restrictions.
Additional Skills and Tools
- Outstanding presentation and communication abilities.
- Curious and action-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Gong, and Clari sales platforms.
- Familiarity with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDICC and Command of the Message.

Compensation and Travel
The base annual salary for this role is approximately AUD 100,000. The overall compensation package may include bonuses, equity, signing incentives, and health and wellness benefits. Up to 10% travel may be required for onboarding, client or partner engagements, team meetings, and industry events, with prior scheduling.
