Zr3i is developing essential infrastructure to allow millions of smallholder farmers to engage with carbon markets by utilizing AI, satellite imagery, and digital monitoring, reporting, and verification (MRV) technologies. Our goal is to democratize access to carbon finance, ensuring it is transparent, rewarding, and supports accelerated climate efforts in emerging economies.

Role Overview

As a co-founder in the CTO/Product & Technology Lead role, you will influence every dimension of the company, steering both the technology vision and product development.

• Drive the technological and product strategy.
• Develop and expand the platform along with AI features.
• Make important technical and commercial decisions.
• Collaborate on fundraising initiatives and investor communications.
• Recruit and oversee the growth of the engineering team.
• Transform innovative concepts into widely adopted products.

Candidate Profile

• Entrepreneurial mindset comfortable with ambiguity and evolving challenges.
• Strong background in software engineering or artificial intelligence.
• Product-focused with an ability to execute effectively.
• Keen interest in startups, climate technology, or agricultural sectors.
• Committed to long-term company building and seeking ownership rather than just a job.

Compensation

This is an equity-driven co-founder position. A salary will be established once the company secures funding or generates sufficient revenue.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within SaaS or startup environments.
• Familiarity with AI, geospatial datasets, remote sensing, GIS, or cloud infrastructure.
• Proven ability to build scalable web applications.
• Experience as a founder or in early-stage startups is advantageous but not mandatory.
