Job description

The opportunity

FutureSight is looking for a Co-Founder & CEO to launch and scale Reclaim, an AI-first venture focused on denial management and revenue recovery. This is a founder partnership with meaningful equity, not a salaried leadership position.

The business is entering a market worth more than $16B, with an estimated $7.5B to $10B unmet need, and is aimed at the under-served mid-market. Today, roughly 30% to 40% of denied medical claims are never challenged because practices do not have enough staffing or capital to pursue them. As a result, each practice can leave between $50,000 and $300,000 of legitimate annual revenue uncollected.

Reclaim AI is designed to handle denied and aged claims from end to end, using contingency-based pricing: practices pay nothing upfront, and the company only earns a share of successfully recovered funds. The target customer is a practice with at least $80K in annual recoverable claims.

Market context

FutureSight’s team validated the opportunity through direct conversations with billing managers, practice owners, revenue cycle leaders at health systems, and digital operations leaders at major insurance companies. The insights point to a large opening for a new disruptor:

  • The operational pain is intense enough that some practices are building their own tools: billers are even hiring part-time software engineers to create in-house RPA scrapers for claim-status checks.
  • Write-offs carry a strong emotional cost: staff often feel responsible for lost revenue. In one small practice, an assistant estimated that nearly a million dollars may have been written off simply because manual follow-ups could not keep pace.
  • There is also a payer-side burden: one large insurer interviewed reported a backlog of 31,000 disputed claims that consumed about 80% of the team’s operating capacity, forcing emergency hiring to manage the workload.
  • Competition is concentrated elsewhere: better-funded competitors are charging more than $15K in upfront licensing and focusing on enterprise health systems, which leaves a broad opening in the mid-market for a contingency-priced autonomous agent.

About FutureSight

FutureSight is a venture builder that partners with values-driven founders to create software businesses from idea to exit. The studio combines founders, operators, and designers with experience taking products to market and scaling them.

You will build alongside a seasoned team led by John Carbrey, Krista LaRiviere, Alan Smith, Prathna Ramesh, and Johnny Tong, bringing experience across entrepreneurship, exits, investing, product strategy, and AI-native company building.

The partnership

  • Meaningful founder equity from day one.
  • Pre-seed capital already committed by FutureSight to support early hiring and MVP work, with possible follow-on funding.
  • Access to venture-building support across design, engineering, growth, and fundraising from the start.
  • Support from an investor and advisor network spanning vertical AI and early-stage capital.
  • A genuine co-building model, with you operating as CEO alongside FutureSight’s cross-functional team.

What you will own

As Co-Founder & CEO, you will define the company’s direction and drive execution.

  • Strategy: sharpen the ICP, pricing approach, and product positioning.
  • Customer development: run pilots with practice owners and revenue cycle leaders, turn pilots into paid relationships, and build the go-to-market engine.
  • Product: collaborate with FutureSight’s product and engineering teams to launch V1 and improve it using customer feedback.
  • Capital: lead the seed fundraising effort, with support from FutureSight’s network and traction-building.
  • Team: hire and lead the founding team while setting the company’s culture.

Profile for the co-founder

  • You bring hands-on exposure to healthcare revenue cycle, medical billing, or denial management, and you understand denial codes, administrative denials such as credentialing issues, and the fragmented systems billers use, including tools like Tebra, eClinicalWorks, and Availity.
  • You have previously founded a venture-backed company.
  • You have proven B2B AI or B2B SaaS go-to-market experience, including sales and customer-facing work.
  • You are comfortable with fundraising and can shape investor stories and close capital.
  • You can identify, attract, develop, and retain strong talent.
  • You understand the risks and commitment involved in co-founding a venture-backed startup.
