Co-Founder & CEO - Entrepreneur in Residence

The opportunity

FutureSight is looking for a seasoned entrepreneur to partner in launching its next B2B AI company. This is a co-founder arrangement with meaningful founder equity, not a paid executive position.

The role is suited to repeat founders who already have an early concept in mind, or who are open to working with FutureSight to test, shape, and build a new business together. You will collaborate with the team to evaluate ideas, drop concepts that do not prove out, and take the strongest one from zero to fundraising and later stages.

This is a full-time commitment, and the person in this role is expected to focus exclusively on building and owning a single B2B AI venture from the ground up.

FutureSight is a venture studio that partners with values-driven founders to create software companies from the earliest stage through exit. The team combines founder, operator, and design experience with a track record of taking software products to market at scale.

You will work with an established studio team led by John Carbrey, a 4-time entrepreneur with $100M ARR experience; Krista LaRiviere, a 3-time exited founder and E&Y Top Women Entrepreneur; Alan Smith, co-founder of Strategyzer with $120M in products built; Prathna Ramesh, former Managing Director of Maple Leaf Angels with $275M in follow-on capital; and Johnny Tong, a builder whose companies were acquired by SAP and Stripe. Together, they bring strong operator outcomes, investing experience, and deep AI product capability.

What you will own

As Co-Founder & CEO, you will define the direction of the new venture and drive it forward.

• Validation: Work with the studio team to test, refine, and pressure-test the business idea, including building prototypes to prove and sell possible solutions, while being willing to abandon ideas that do not stand up before fully committing to the right one
• Strategy: Establish the ideal customer profile, pricing approach, and product positioning for the opportunity that proves out
• Customer development: Run pilots, turn them into paying customers, and build the go-to-market engine
• Product: Collaborate with FutureSight's product and engineering team to launch version 1 and improve it based on user feedback
• Capital: Own the pre-seed and seed fundraising process, supported by FutureSight's network and traction
• Team: Hire and lead the founding team while setting the company culture

Profile

• Prior experience founding a venture-backed company
• Strong track record in B2B AI or B2B SaaS go-to-market, including sales and customer relationship work
• Comfort and skill in fundraising, including building investor stories and securing capital
• Ability to recruit, grow, and keep strong talent
• Realistic understanding of the demands and risk involved in co-founding a venture-backed startup
• Broad startup background with strength in at least one core function such as sales, technology, product, design, or marketing
• Domain knowledge or an industry edge, along with genuine motivation to solve problems in that area
