Co-Founder & CEO - Entrepreneur in Residence

The Opportunity

FutureSight is looking for a seasoned, forward-thinking founder to join forces with them and launch their next B2B AI company. This is a genuine co-founder relationship with meaningful equity, not a paid executive position.

The role is suited to repeat founders who may already be exploring an early idea, or who want to work with FutureSight to assess, shape, and build a new business together. You will collaborate with the studio team to test assumptions, discard ideas that do not prove viable, and take the strongest concept from early validation through fundraising and scale.

This is a full-time, exclusive commitment centered on building and owning one B2B AI venture from scratch.

FutureSight is a venture-building firm that partners with values-driven entrepreneurs to create software companies from the earliest stage through exit. Its team includes founders, operators, and designers with experience launching and scaling software businesses.

You will build alongside an experienced studio team led by John Carbrey, a 4x entrepreneur with $100M ARR experience; Krista LaRiviere, a 3x exited founder and E&Y Top Women Entrepreneur; Alan Smith, co-founder of Strategyzer with $120M in products built; Prathna Ramesh, former Managing Director of Maple Leaf Angels with $275M in follow-on capital; and Johnny Tong, a zero-to-one builder whose work was acquired by SAP and Stripe.

The Partnership

• Substantial founder equity and ownership from the start
• Pre-seed capital available from FutureSight to support early hiring and MVP development, with room for additional funding later
• Access to venture-building support from day one, including design, engineering, growth, and fundraising help
• Connections to investors and advisors in vertical AI and early-stage capital markets
• A collaborative model where you act as CEO while FutureSight’s cross-functional team operates as your partner

What You'll Own

As Co-Founder & CEO, you will define the direction of the company and drive it forward.

• Validation: work with the team to test, refine, and prototype the concept, staying prepared to abandon weak ideas before committing to the strongest opportunity
• Strategy: determine the ideal customer profile, pricing approach, and market positioning for the validated solution
• Customer development: run pilots, turn them into paying customers, and build the go-to-market engine
• Product: collaborate with FutureSight’s product and engineering team to launch the first version and improve it based on user feedback
• Capital: own the pre-seed and seed fundraising process, backed by FutureSight’s network and traction
• Team: hire and guide the founding team while shaping the company culture from the beginning

Co-Founder Profile

• Prior experience founding a venture-backed business
• Strong results in B2B AI or B2B SaaS go-to-market, including selling and working closely with customers
• Comfort and skill in fundraising, including building investor stories and closing capital
• Ability to attract, coach, and keep strong talent
• Realistic understanding of the demands and uncertainty involved in co-founding a venture-backed startup
• Broad startup capability with strength in at least one core discipline such as sales, technology, product, design, or marketing
• Domain knowledge or industry advantage, plus a genuine drive to solve problems in that space
