Job description
About the Role
FutureSight is inviting an entrepreneurial leader to co-found and serve as CEO of HawkAI, an innovative AI enterprise aimed at transforming freight communications within US logistics brokerages, carriers, and warehouses. This is a genuine co-founder opportunity with significant equity participation, not a conventional salaried post.
HawkAI offers persistent, multi-channel AI agents that autonomously manage high-volume freight communications including calls, texts, and emails. It integrates directly with essential freight systems such as TMS, load boards, and broker/carrier databases, autonomously resolving over 90% of routine inquiries and escalating exceptional cases to human staff. The system facilitates tracking, appointment scheduling, carrier rate negotiations, proof-of-delivery collection, and comprehensive shipment status updates, serving as a continuous communication layer rather than an additional tool stacked onto current systems, allowing logistics teams to prioritize value-driven exception handling.
Market Opportunity
- The US logistics BPO market related to outsourced communications is valued around $26 billion, indicating a substantial potential for automation in this labour-intensive sector.
- About 150,000 US freight forwarders, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), and warehouses constitute the primary target, with tiered subscription pricing estimates pointing to a $1.5 billion yearly total addressable market.
- Mid-sized US brokerages manage thousands of daily communications but often cannot respond to each transaction, leading to penalties related to On Time/In Full (OTIF) standards and resulting delays.
- Early adopters of AI communication assistants report roughly 33% reductions in operational costs alongside significantly expedited call resolutions.
- Globally, AI supply chain software is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of about 23% between 2025 and 2031, with North America experiencing 30-45% annual expansion in AI-driven logistics spending.
