Company Overview
Raffles & Fairmont Red Sea is part of the Kingdom’s landmark Red Sea Project and is being developed as a nature-led resort destination. The property will feature 361 rooms, eleven dining experiences, including overwater restaurants overlooking the Red Sea and mangroves, along with a spa. It will also sit beside an 18-hole championship golf course, reinforcing Fairmont’s reputation as a premier golf hospitality brand. The destination is set across 200 km of pristine coastline, a chain of more than 90 untouched islands, dormant volcanoes, abundant marine life, and historic archaeological locations, with sustainability at the core of its development.
Role Summary
This position calls for an experienced and forward-thinking Cluster Marketing & Public Relations Manager to direct communications and marketing efforts for Raffles & Fairmont The Red Sea in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. The role carries responsibility for shaping and delivering integrated marketing plans across the luxury hospitality cluster, strengthening brand identity, and building productive connections with media, stakeholders, and influential voices in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver end-to-end marketing plans and campaigns for the cluster properties, maintaining a unified brand voice and market presence.
- Oversee all public relations work, including media handling, press releases, crisis response, and safeguarding reputation across the portfolio.
- Control the marketing budget and distribute spending in a way that supports strong returns and business priorities.
- Align marketing activity across all cluster properties while staying consistent with corporate branding and local market conditions.
- Plan and run digital marketing initiatives, including social media strategy, content planning, and online engagement efforts.
- Lead the coordination of major events, product launches, and promotional programs that increase visibility and encourage guest engagement.
- Carry out market and competitor research to uncover opportunities and support strategic choices.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with media, influencers, travel partners, and other important stakeholders in luxury hospitality.
- Track campaign results, marketing performance, and brand perception, using insights to refine future plans.
- Work closely with property leadership, sales, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of marketing activities and a consistent guest journey.
- Build and maintain crisis communication procedures and respond effectively to potential reputation issues.
Candidate Profile
- At least 5 years of professional experience in marketing, public relations, or communications within luxury hospitality or premium service businesses.
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading marketing and PR activities at a cluster or multi-property level.
- Strong track record in creating and executing integrated marketing strategies and brand campaigns.
- Solid capability in digital marketing, social media management, and content development.
- Hands-on experience in media relations, press coordination, and public relations strategy.
- Well-developed project management skills with the ability to handle several priorities at once.
- Strong analytical ability, including experience with marketing metrics, performance reporting, and data-based decision-making.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal; Arabic is an advantage.
- Experience managing marketing budgets and sound financial judgment.
- Understanding of the luxury hospitality sector, regional market trends, and consumer behavior in the Middle East.
- Ability to use marketing tools, CRM platforms, and analytics systems effectively.
- Strong people skills and stakeholder management ability, with a collaborative approach across departments.
- Background in crisis communication and reputation protection.
- Experience in event management and experiential marketing.
