Job description
Role overview
As the Cluster Director of Marketing and Communications, you will shape and lead the marketing direction for the cluster, turning strategy into measurable commercial impact. The role focuses on strengthening brand visibility, supporting revenue growth, and creating guest experiences that reflect the warmth and service standards of hospitality.
You will be responsible for building strategic plans, guiding execution across multiple channels, and using performance data, market intelligence, and campaign insights to improve outcomes. The position also involves close coordination with hotel leadership, commercial teams, and ownership stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Design and roll out integrated marketing and communications strategies for the cluster, with a strong emphasis on brand strength, revenue growth, and market share.
- Plan and manage campaigns across digital, social, and brand-led channels.
- Track industry shifts, new technologies, and changing consumer behavior, then convert those insights into practical marketing actions.
- Review campaign performance, measure return on investment, and provide analysis that supports commercial goals.
- Share recommendations and performance insights with Sales, Revenue Management, and senior leaders to support better decision-making.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to General Managers, Commercial Directors, and other department leaders.
- Maintain strong working relationships with hotel leadership, regional teams, and owners to ensure alignment and effective delivery.
- Lead, coach, and develop the marketing team to build a capable, high-performing function.
- Make sure marketing activity stays aligned with brand standards and wider business priorities across all properties in the cluster.
Qualifications and experience
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related discipline.
- 8 to 12 years of marketing experience, ideally within hospitality.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and grow high-performing teams.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders across hotel operations, regional functions, and ownership groups.
- Strong commercial understanding, including budget oversight, ROI, and performance-focused environments.
- Broad knowledge of digital marketing, branding, and multi-channel campaign execution.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to work with marketing platforms and hotel systems such as Salesforce and OnQ.
Who fits this role
This opportunity is best suited to an experienced marketing leader who can balance brand strategy, commercial performance, and team leadership. Applicants should be confident working with senior decision-makers and comfortable operating in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
About the workplace

It highlights an award-winning workplace environment, recognition on leading best-workplace lists, and a strong commitment to building memorable guest experiences while supporting team members’ career growth.
Additional information
The employer emphasizes that the role is part of a cluster-level marketing function and is focused on multi-property coordination rather than a single-site remit. The broader organization positions itself as a place where people can grow their careers while contributing to exceptional guest experiences.
