Located within Saudi Arabia's pioneering Red Sea Project, Raffles & Fairmont the Red Sea offers a nature-inspired luxury resort experience featuring 361 rooms, eleven unique dining venues—including an overwater restaurant with panoramic views of the Red Sea and mangroves—and a spa. Adjacent to an 18-hole championship golf course, the resort exemplifies sustainable development across 200km of pristine coastline, an archipelago with over 90 untouched islands, dormant volcanoes, rich marine life, and ancient archaeological treasures.
Job Overview
We are looking for a visionary Cluster Director of Food & Beverages to steer culinary operations across multiple luxury properties in the Red Sea region. This leadership role is integral to crafting extraordinary dining experiences and advancing food and beverage excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute strategic plans to enhance all F&B offerings throughout Raffles & Fairmont properties in the region.
- Manage financial aspects including budgets, cost control measures, and revenue growth for all F&B outlets.
- Lead and motivate a large food and beverage team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Ensure outstanding customer service and guest satisfaction across all dining experiences.
- Work closely with the executive chef to develop menus that integrate local tastes and global culinary trends.
- Maintain rigorous quality control and compliance with food safety standards.
- Oversee inventory management and supply chain efficiency to optimize operations and costs.
- Cultivate strong partnerships with local suppliers and industry stakeholders.
- Monitor global F&B trends and integrate cutting-edge practices to sustain luxury hospitality leadership.
- Represent the resort at industry events and networking forums.
- Track operational performance using KPIs to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Design and implement staff training programs that boost service quality and employee engagement.
- Lead adoption and improvement of technology solutions, including point-of-sale systems, to streamline workflows.
- Drive environmental and sustainability initiatives throughout all F&B operations.
- Develop and launch marketing campaigns to increase F&B revenue and enhance brand presence.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of senior management experience in luxury hospitality food and beverage operations.
- Proven capability managing multiple outlets within upscale hotels or resorts.
- Strong financial management skills involving budgeting, profit and loss oversight, and revenue optimization.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with experience guiding large teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations and certifications.
- Expertise in inventory control and supply chain management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage guests, team members, and stakeholders effectively.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills suitable for high-pressure environments.
- Thorough understanding of Middle Eastern cuisine and culture along with global food and beverage trends.
- Experience working in the Middle East is mandatory.
- Fluent English required; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
