About the Role
The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company is seeking a dedicated Club Lounge Agent to join their team in Saudi Arabia. This role is crucial in ensuring the "Gold Standards" of The Ritz-Carlton are delivered with grace and thoughtfulness daily. Responsibilities
- Complete opening and closing procedures, including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, and securing the premises.
- Coordinate with the captain or supervisor before ending the shift.
- Prepare, stock, and maintain work stations, including ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
- Remove used dishes and glassware from the bar top and tables.
- Maintain the cleanliness and condition of work areas, the bar, bar unit, tables, and other equipment according to established guidelines.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and security, report any accidents or unsafe conditions, and complete required safety training.
- Ensure a professional appearance and uniform standards are met, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, proactively address guest needs, assist guests with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and guests.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members and support collective goals.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Visually verify information presented in various formats, including small print.
- Perform physical tasks including standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Utilize fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
- Navigate uneven or slippery surfaces, as well as stairs and service ramps.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, involving bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Undertake other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- No prior related work experience is required.
- No supervisory experience is necessary.
- No specific licenses or certifications are currently mandated.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
- Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to navigate challenging surfaces and inclines.
- Willingness to perform tasks involving reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
