Job description

Team Overview

The Observability team builds and runs the observability products and supporting data infrastructure used across servers, mobile, frontend, and inter-app communication. The team also keeps evolving cloud-native observability capabilities and product features.

Role Summary

This graduate opportunity is intended for candidates joining in 2026. The role offers the chance to work on challenging engineering problems, contribute bold ideas, and grow in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the build, upkeep, and improvement of the observability customer platform, including features such as query acceleration support, tenant management, agent troubleshooting automation, resource billing, and OpenAPI OG label.
  • Develop, support, and optimize the data warehouse and data ingestion services with a focus on reliability, scale, and performance.
  • Work on the query proxy and Golang SDK to make query handling efficient, dependable, and scalable.
  • Design and maintain end-to-end performance tests and test cases to strengthen reliability, responsiveness, and overall product quality.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Final-year student or recent graduate in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
  • Strong programming ability in at least one of Golang or Java, along with a solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and database system concepts and implementation.
  • Background in database development, control plane engineering, or a similar area, with familiarity in Kubernetes operators, controllers, and schedulers.
  • Experience with high-concurrency data ingestion engineering and/or Big Data ETL and data processing.

Preferred Background

  • Exposure to observability technologies such as OpenTelemetry.
  • Knowledge of time-series databases such as Prometheus, InfluxDB, and Victormetrics.
  • Understanding of quality assurance practices and cluster reliability.
