Role Overview

The Clinical Trials Assistant (CTA) position is based within the Beatson Clinical Research Facility (BCRF), a dedicated NHS centre supporting cancer clinical research in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. The BCRF manages a diverse portfolio of studies, including early-phase, translational, first-in-human, phase I-III trials, and advanced therapy research involving adult solid and blood cancers.

The CTA’s main function is to provide comprehensive administrative support for these studies. The role involves independently managing assigned tasks while collaborating closely with BCRF management, clinical research nursing teams, and colleagues. The post is physically located at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre.

Position Details

• Fixed term contract initially for two years with potential renewal options.
• Location: Beatson WoSCC, 1053 Great Western Road, Glasgow G12 0YN.
• Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM; Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
