Role Overview

The Clinical Specialist serves as the primary clinical support to aid sales representatives in cultivating new business opportunities with physicians and hospital clients. This role involves delivering technical expertise, conducting product demonstrations, assisting in patient care, and overseeing the installation and upkeep of company products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and sustain relationships with physicians and clinical staff at assigned sites by delivering exceptional service and ongoing education related to the company’s products.
  • Possess in-depth clinical knowledge of the products, including their applications, usage instructions, and procedural methodologies.
  • Provide comprehensive technical and educational training to clinicians and staff on proper product utilization.
  • Offer case support during operating room and procedural settings.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and research & development teams to relay product, clinical, and market insights that support product enhancements.
  • Be the primary clinical support resource for troubleshooting, programming, and patient follow-up associated with company devices.
  • Conduct patient follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and success with implanted products.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with hospital personnel.
  • Visit clinical environments including hospitals, operating rooms, clinics, and surgical centers to support customers and patients.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working within clinical or hospital environments.
  • At least 3 years’ experience with implantable medical devices.
  • Proven operating room experience.
